Plymouth Common Council Hears Comprehensive Plan Update

The Plymouth Common Council heard an update on the Comprehensive Plan from City of Plymouth Attorney Sean Surrisi during the last meeting.

An initial meeting was held by the Comprehensive Plan Implementation Committee recently. They plan to meet again in January of 2024 with some additional members. Once the new Comprehensive Plan is adopted, the goal of the committee will be to ensure the advancement of the plan’s concepts and goals.

He added that the Comprehensive Plan will also be added as a regular item to the Plymouth Council meeting agenda so that it remains a priority for public discussion.

The public comment period has been closed. That data and the Comprehensive Plan will be presented at a Public Hearing at the Plan Commission meeting on Tuesday, December 5 at 7 p.m. ET.

If the plan is approved without large amendments, the plan will be presented to the Council on December 11 for consideration for adoption.
