A South Bend man was arrested Wednesday, December 20 in Mishawaka and housed in the Marshall County Jail for outstanding warrants for theft.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, officers from the department along with the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department located and arrested Eric Barnard inside the University Park Mall. He is suspected of being involved in numerous thefts in and around Marshall County.
Barnard is being held in the Marshall County Jail on one count of theft a Level 5 Felony and theft as a Level 6 Felony. He is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
