The Marshall County Parks and Recreation Board members are looking for volunteers to assist with the continued development of the canoe and kayak launch.
Terry Borggren has had to step away from his assistance with the project. The board hopes that community members may want to step up and take command of gathering more information on a location and proposed funding for a potential project.
The board discussed purchasing no hunting signs on the county parks properties. Board President Greg Hildebrand thought about approaching the Marshall County Commissioners about an ordinance to have some penalties in place. The board will looking into putting up signs to ensure that hunting is not allowed on county park properties.
