Troopers at the Indiana State Police Bremen Post had a particularly busy week the week of December 3.
Between December 3 and December 9, troopers were proactively patrolling the roads across the Bremen District enforcing Indiana’s traffic laws, answering calls for service, and conducting crash investigations.
These patrols resulted in new arrests and cases being drawn for primary charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, operating while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license, and possession of marijuana.
Troopers also followed up on tips and pursued leads and ultimately arrested twelve people with active arrest warrants on a total of 38 separate criminal charges.
Charges were also submitted to local prosecutor’s offices for three cases of possession of marijuana, three cases of driving while suspended-prior, possession of methamphetamine, and operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.
In other news, Indiana State Police Master Trooper John Wilson graduated from the Indiana State Police K-9 Training School. Trooper Wilson was joined by his new K-9 partner, “Daisy” at the ceremony held in Indianapolis at the Indiana State Police District 52.
Daisy is a Belgian Malinois that is a year-and-a-half-old. Wilson is a 16-year veteran of the Indiana State Police. Daisy and Wilson will patrol throughout the Bremen District made up of Elkhart, St. Joseph, Marshall, and Kosciusko County.
