Fort Wayne Woman Arrested Following Traffic Stop

A Fort Wayne woman was arrested following a traffic stop in Marshall County Saturday, December 2.

A Marshall County deputy conducted a traffic stop on a 2022 Chrysler Pacifica in the area of U.S. 30 and Oak Road in Plymouth just before 11 p.m. ET for speeding.


The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was identified as 34-year-old Linda Johnson of Fort Wayne.


Police say K-9 Bear was utilized and indicated the odor of drugs in the vehicle. Johnson was found to have possession of marijuana, according to the report. Johnson was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
