The Culver Community School Board members are looking for a new legal counsel as Jeff Houin recently resigned.
Houin has agreed to accept the position of Plymouth City Attorney and he begins in that position January 1, 2024. Houin had represented the Culver Community School Corporation for several years.
Superintendent Karen Shuman stated that Request for Proposal (RFP) paperwork has been sent out in order to seek new representation.
Additionally, the board members approved the distribution of Teacher Appreciation Grants, as well as a stipend will be going to all other staff members that are deemed highly effective and effective.
