The Bremen Town Council members are looking for members to populate an Unsafe Building Board.
Council President Bill Daily asked about a certain building in town which prompted Town Attorney Anthony Wagner to put that question to an Unsafe Building Board that needs to be assembled. Wagner said any questions concerning potential action should be heard by an independent board to make decisions to make certain decisions.
Wagner said he has been talking to a few people that would be interested to serve but there are certain requirements of the members who sit on the board. Those with a health background are encouraged to consider being on the board, as well as those with a realtor background. Specific requirements have not been determined, but if there is interest, call the Bremen Town Hall at 574-546-2044.
In other business, Clerk-Treasurer Janet Anglemyer announced that the swearing in ceremony for all members elected to office in the November Municipal General Election for the Town of Bremen will be Monday, January 8 before the regular meeting that begins 4:30 p.m. ET. Marshall County Superior Court No 1. Judge Robert Bowen will be delivering the oaths of office.
