Bourbon Town Council Updated on Police Report

During the regular meeting held in November, Bourbon Police Department (BPD) Chief Bill Martin updated the Bourbon Town Council with his monthly report for October 2023.

The Activity Report for October 2023 included zero accidents reported, 6 uniform traffic tickets, one ordinance tickets, 11 school patrols, 7 written warnings, 41 verbal warnings, four vehicle identification checks, 18 traffic details including radar checks, three motorist assists, six attempts to locate and 10 foot patrols.

The Criminal Activity Report for October 2023 included zero felony arrests, five misdemeanor arrests, 10 case reports assigned, and one alarm. There were 530 daily log entries.

The Administrative and General Report included 57 office details, zero firearms applications, three records check / processing, 13 general complaints, 7 requests for service, 128 security checks, 27 public contacts, 19 assists to other agencies, two animal complaints, zero notices served, two doors or windows found open, one family disturbance complaints, two suspicious persons or vehicles, and 18 calls to 9-1-1.

Miles traveled on patrol and other duties for Chief Martin were 982 miles and four arrests.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) Officer Prater recorded 100 miles and zero arrests.

BPD Officer Vermillion recorded 120 miles and zero arrests.

Reserve and part-time officers recorded a total of 892 miles and eight arrests.

The grand total for the BPD for the month of October was 1,982 miles and 12 arrests.
