The Marshall County Community Foundation recently announced the recipient of the 2024 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship for Marshall County.
The recipient is Cassidy Riddle of Plymouth High School.
Marshall County Community Foundation Scholarship Committee Chair Beth Styers stated in a press release that not only has Cassidy received numerous awards and achievements at the local, state and national levels, she has started her own business.
Cassidy is the daughter of Morris and Kimberlee Riddle. Cassidy plans to attend Purdue University to pursue a bachelor’s degree with a double major in agronomy and entomology.
Each Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship provides for full tuition, required fees and a special allocation of up to $900 per year for required books and required equipment for four years. The scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students leading to a baccalaureate degree at any eligible Indiana public or private nonprofit college or university. Lilly Endowment Community Scholars may also participate in the Lilly Scholars Network, which connects both current scholars and alumni with resources and opportunities to be active leaders on their campuses and in their communities. Both the scholarship program and Lilly Scholars Network are supported by grants from Lilly Endowment to Independent Colleges of Indiana and Indiana Humanities.
