Plymouth Mayor Mark Senter presented the Key to the City to Plymouth Redevelopment Commission Vice President Tom Pedavoli during last week’s Redevelopment Commission regular meeting.
Mayor Senter called Pedavoli’s family into the meeting before making a proclamation.
“…Whereas, Doctor Thomas Pedavoli DDS has dedicated his life to this community and has demonstrated in many practical ways his deep and genuine love for the City of Plymouth, the Plymouth Redevelopment Commission as well as the Marshall County Historical Society Board. Whereas, in January of 2008, Tom was appointed as a member of the Redevelopment Commission and is a rare charter member of this administration’s many volunteer boards. Whereas, at that time we all had a lot to learn about the Redevelopment Commission and TIF Zones. Tom was a fast learner and has been Vice President of this organization for many years. Tom and Brenda’s dental practice is renowned county-wide and he has earned the respect of community leaders and the affection of a host of area residents who are proud to call him friend or doctor,” Senter said.
Senter also talked about how Pedavoli had been his next door neighbor. They had first day of school pictures of all their kids together for all 12 years of school.
Pedavoli followed Senter by sharing that it has been a pleasure to a member of the Redevelopment Commission.
