Speeding Prompts Traffic Stop, Plymouth Man Taken to Jail

A Plymouth man was arrested Tuesday, October 31 after a traffic stop for speeding.

According to the Plymouth Police Department, a traffic stop was conducted in the area of North Michigan Street at 1:42 a.m. ET.  Police say the driver, 22-year-old Zachary Cronin, was reportedly traveling 70 mph in a 35 mph zone and operated the vehicle while impaired. 

Cronin was arrested on a preliminary charge of operating while intoxicated above .15

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
