Plymouth Police Department Arrests Suspects in Separate Traffic Stops

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department arrested two suspects after conducting two recent traffic stops. 

An officer conducted a traffic stop Wednesday, November 1 at 9:25 p.m. ET on US 30 and Rose Road for a vehicle traveling in excess of 100 mph.  The driver Rosalio Villanueva, 22, of Chicago was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail pending charges of reckless driving.

In a separate incident Thursday, November 2 at 9 p.m. ET, Plymouth Police conducted a traffic stop at Jefferson and Third Street after observing a vehicle reportedly driving recklessly at a high rate of speed.

Police say the vehicle was traveling 60 mph while crossing the railroad tracks on Jefferson.  The vehicle did not stop when officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop until reaching the area of Beerenbrook and Madison.

Officers identified the driver as Eugene Dovich, 32, of Plymouth who was taken into custody on a preliminary charge of reckless driving.


Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
