Plymouth Police Department Arrests Drivers in Separate Calls

Officers from the Plymouth Police Department arrested drivers in two separate incidents Saturday, October 28.

Plymouth Police conducted a traffic stop at U.S. 30 and Pioneer Drive that day at 1:19 a.m. ET. The officers identified the driver as Oscar Matias, 19, of Fort Wayne. Police say a second suspicious vehicle pulled up during the traffic stop before leaving and then returning a second time. The driver of the second vehicle was identified as Ronald Pivaral-Cruz, 26, of Fort Wayne.

It was determined that neither driver had ever received a driver’s license, according to the report.

Both were transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Later that day, shortly before midnight ET, Plymouth officers responded to McDonald’s drive-thru for a suspected intoxicated driver.  As a result of the investigation, Alex Casanova, 41, of Plymouth was transported to the hospital for a blood test and was later booked into the Marshall County Jail.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
