A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday, November 11 after Plymouth Police Department officers received a report about a vehicle in the river in the area of Michigan Street and Laporte Street at 10:42 p.m. ET.
Officers arrived in the area and located a Ford F250 in the river with a man inside the vehicle. Officers were able to get the man out of the vehicle and to safety.
Upon further investigation, police say the driver, 22-year-old Tyson Leed, was intoxicated. He was taken into custody and received medical attention. He was then released to the custody of police and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
