An Indianapolis man was arrested Friday, November 24 following a traffic stop in the area of U.S. 31 and 11th Road in Marshall County just before 1:30 a.m. ET.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy conducted the traffic stop on a white 2016 Volkswagen Jetta where an investigation found that the driver, 40-year-old Sammie Coleman, was driving with a suspended driver’s license. Coleman was also allegedly in possession of marijuana.
Coleman was transported to the Marshal County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of driving while suspended with a prior conviction and possession of marijuana.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
