The Bremen Town Council members were updated on projects at their most recent meeting
Park Superintendent Brian Main commented that Aquatics Facility is dealing with a delayed time line. Due to this, he wants to figure out what to do about open swim and swim lessons. A decision will likely be made at the December park board meeting. A pre-construction meeting was held on Tuesday, Nov. 14 for the aquatics facility.
Town Engineer Ken Jones from JPR let the council know that the wastewater project is on track. He said that it looks like it could go to bid in December. Easements have successfully been acquired from all the property owners near the interceptor project. At the next meeting he will ask for funds for payments to the property owners. They are significantly under the budget.
The next Bremen Town Council meeting will be Monday, November 27 at 4:30 p.m. ET at the Bremen Town Hall.
