The Argos Community School Board members adopted the 2024 budget during their meeting last week.
According to the Notice to Taxpayers listing on the Indiana Gateway website, the Debt Service Fund is about $1.2 million, the Education Fund is about $5.3 million, and the Operations Fund is about $2.2 million.
The total budget is about $8.8 million.
The three-year Capital Projects plan shows any proposed capital expenditures that exceed $10,000 and this report includes building repair and maintenance, vehicle repairs and service, and other facilities acquisition and construction. Projects include building improvements for 2024 at a cost of $275,000.
The Bus Replacement Plan shows two new buses in 2024, and one new bus in each year from 2025 to 2028.
There were no public comments on the Capital Projects Plan or the Bus Replacement Plan.
The board approved all resolutions pertaining to the budget, Capital Projects Plan and Bus Replacement Plan.
