A traffic stop conducted by a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officer Friday, October 6 resulted in an arrest.
The traffic stop was conducted in the area of Michigan Road and Airport Road on a silver 2008 Ford passenger car at 10:42 p.m. ET.
During the investigation, the registered owner and driver, William Pena, 27, of South Bend was found to be operating with a driving status of suspended with a prior conviction. He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
