Plymouth Police Department Investigates Calls

The Plymouth Police Department investigated two recent calls that resulted in arrests. 

Plymouth officers were dispatched to the Economy Inn Monday, October 2 at 6:48 p.m. ET for a man who was reportedly trying to start a fight with other patrons.

Police say Ryan Rudd, 46, of Plymouth was found to be the instigator and continued to cause a scene after officers arrived. Rudd was also allegedly found to be intoxicated.

He was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

Meanwhile, Plymouth officers were dispatched to West Monroe Street on Tuesday, October 3 just before 1 a.m. ET for a domestic disturbance.

During the investigation, Raina Whitfield of Plymouth was taken into custody on suspicion of criminal confinement and was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
