Driver Arrested for Leaving the Scene of an Accident

Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to the corner of Oak and Harrison Street Tuesday, October 10 for a property damage accident.

Police say one of the drivers, Kevin Calvillo, 19, of Plymouth had fled the scene as a witness had been able to obtain a license plate number.

The vehicle and suspected driver were located and Calvillo was arrested on preliminary charges of leaving the scene of an accident and he was lodged at the Marshall County Jail.

Also on Tuesday, October 10, Plymouth Police Department officers arrested two people for outstanding warrants.

Police took Angela Ferguson, 53, of Plymouth into custody on two misdemeanor counts of domestic battery and one count of felony strangulation.  Steven Ferguson, 64, of Plymouth was arrested on two counts of domestic battery.  They were taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office. 

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
