Four young ladies will be competing for $4,000 in college scholarships and the opportunity to represent the community as the 60th Distinguished Young Woman of Triton during an event Saturday, October 7 at 7 p.m. ET at Triton’s Performing Arts Center.
Contestants Addyson Viers, Ciara Howell, Jocelynn Faulkner, and Cheyenne Hawley will be evaluated by a panel of three judges in scholastics, interview, talent, fitness, and self-expression. The Distinguished Young Woman of Triton will join other senior girls from across the state the week of February 11, 2024 to vie for the title of Indiana’s 2024 Distinguished Young Woman.
The Distinguished Young Woman of Triton will win a $1,200 scholarship, and the first runner-up will get $600. The winners of director’s choice, scholastic achievement, interview, fitness, self-expression, and talent will receive $300 in each category. The Spirit of Distinguished Young Woman will receive $200, with other monetary amounts for ticket sales, artistic ad, and Triton Junior Mister.
Tickets for the event are $6.00 and can be purchased from any contestant, or they can be purchased at the door.
