The Culver Community School Board members took action Monday night to approve a bid for the construction of a baseball press box.
Yoder Construction submitted a bid for $230,000 to complete the work. The board had budgeted $130,000 for the construction in the Capital Projects Plan and Superintendent Karen Shuman said the remaining funds will come from what money is saved from the construction bond money.
The bid from Yoder Construction was approved with a unanimous vote of the members present.
In other business, the board accepted a $500 donation from an anonymous donor for school supplies, $600 from First Farmers Bank and Trust for the cheerleaders, and $840 from the Marshall County Community Foundation for Culver Middle/High School girls soccer jerseys.
