Cheyenne Hawley was named the 2024 Distinguished Young Woman of Triton in a program held Saturday at Triton High School.
There were four contestants who vied for the title of Distinguished Young Woman of Triton.
Cheyenne will join other senior girls from across the state the week of February 11, 2024 to vie for the title of Indiana’s 2024 Distinguished Young Woman. The journey will continue for the winner of the state competition at the 67th annual America’s Distinguished Young Women Finals where she will join 51 other representatives from across the country in competing for cash scholarships and the opportunity to represent the program as the Distinguished Young Woman of America.
Hawley was also the winner of the Scholastic Achievement, Self-Expression and Interview categories.
The First Runner-Up was Ciara Howell and she was also named the Spirit of Distinguished Young Woman. The Directors Choice winner was Jocelynn Faulkner who tied with Howell in the Fitness Category. Faulkner also won the Talent and Ticket Sales Categories. Addyson Vires won the Artistic Ad Category.
The Triton Junior Mister competition ended in a tie with Adam Kirn-Haran and Zak Greer.
