The Argos Community School Board members opened a public hearing Monday, October 2 to take public comments on the proposed 2024 budget, Capital Projects Plan and Bus Replacement Plan.
According to the Notice to Taxpayers listing on the Indiana Gateway website, the Debt Service Fund is about $1.2 million, the Education Fund is about $5.3 million, and the Operations Fund is about $2.2 million.
The total budget is about $8.8 million.
The Bus Replacement Plan shows two new buses in 2024, and one new bus in each year from 2025 to 2028.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said there was no public comment.
The board members plan to adopt the budget during their regular meeting Monday, October 23 at 7 p.m. ET.
