A South Bend woman was arrested Friday, September 15 around 4 p.m. ET following a property damage crash on State Road 17 near Carriage Drive west of Plymouth.
Police say the driver, 56-year-old Dawn Rubio, was involved in the accident and had a suspended driver’s license and an outstanding warrant out of Elkhart County. Rubio was arrested at the scene and later transported to the Elkhart County Jail.
The case report involving the accident will be forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for examination and possible criminal charges.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Plymouth Police Department and the Indiana State Police.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
