Plymouth Woman Arrested on Charge of Disorderly Conduct

A Plymouth woman was arrested Saturday, September 23 after the Plymouth Police Department was called to Love’s Truck Stop on reports of a woman screaming at customers.

Police say an officer made contact with 38-year-old Amanda Minix who refused to follow commands by the officer and attempted to enter the store.  As the officer tried to redirect Minix, she allegedly became combative and began to physically resist the officer.

Minix was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail for pending criminal charges of resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
