Street in Plymouth to Close for Infrastructure Project

North Michigan Street will close at Hoham Drive in Plymouth for a planned infrastructure project.

City officials say North Michigan Street will close beginning Thursday, September 14 and will remain in that state until Sunday, September 16.  Crews will be installing a new storm sewer culvert at that location.

The project is part of the ongoing widening of Hoham Drive between Michigan Street and Western Avenue.   The overall project includes the widening of Hoham Drive from Michigan Street to a point 260 feet west of Western Avenue.  This will allow for a 14-foot, two-way left turn west of Western Avenue and a dedicated eastbound right turn lane at Western Avenue.  Curb, gutters and a sidewalk are a part of the project as well.
