Plymouth Police Department Investigates Domestic Disturbance Calls

The Plymouth Police Department recently investigated two domestic disturbance calls.

Officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Dora Lane Sunday, September 24 at 3:30 a.m. ET for a physical domestic battery call.  During an investigation, police say that a domestic battery had occurred which resulted in the arrest of 40-year-old Marc Stump of Plymouth. 

Stump faces preliminary charges of domestic battery with a prior conviction, domestic battery in the presence of a child, and intimidation. 

Later that day, police were called to the 300 block of North Street for an unknown problem.  During an investigation, police determined that there was a domestic battery situation, according to the report.

As a result, 29-year-old Tania Ruiz was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery. 

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
