A Mishawaka driver was arrested Friday, September 15 after a traffic stop in Marshall County.
Police say the traffic stop was conducted at approximately 11:30 p.m. ET in the area of Pioneer Drive and Jim Neu Drive where a probable cause search of the vehicle allegedly yielded several ounces of suspected marijuana.
The owner of the vehicle, 20-year-old Renell West was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of possession of marijuana.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
