Argos Community School Corporation employees will be offered flu shots Thursday, October 12 from noon to 2 p.m. ET.
The Marshall County Mobile Health Clinic will be offering those shots and Superintendent Ned Speicher added that health officials will stay until 5 p.m. ET that night throughout Parent/Teacher Conferences for the purpose of being available for any children or students who need to receive updated childhood immunizations.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are also scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, but the Mobile Health Clinic will only be at the school on October 12.
Speicher noted that that October will be busy as the Argos Community School Board will hold a public hearing on October 2 pertaining to the proposed 2024 Budget, Capital Projects Plan, and Bus Replacement Plan; a public hearing on the tentative agreement with the Teacher’s Association is set for October 9; and the board’s regular session meeting on October 23.
