A motorcycle accident claimed the life of an Argos man Sunday, September 24.
According to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, officers from the department and emergency personnel were called to a single motorcycle accident on North State Road 19, north of W. State Road 10 in Kosciusko County just after 8 p.m. ET.
A preliminary investigation determined a 1995 Suzuki motorcycle was southbound on State Road 19 just north of State Road 10 when it left the roadway on the westside for an unknown reason, according to the report. Police say the motorcycle went into a ditch, continued down the ditch, and struck an embankment of a driveway in the 100 N. block of State Road 19. The driver, identified as 24-year-old Colton O. Brock of Argos, was thrown from the motorcycle.
Brock was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office as a result of his injuries in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County FACT Team.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office, Etna Green Fire Department, Mentone Fire and EMS, Silver Lake Police Department, and Kosciusko County Central Dispatch.
