Traffic Stops in Plymouth Lead to Arrests

Plymouth Police Department officers conducted a couple of traffic stops last week that led to arrests.

Officers conducted a traffic stop Monday, August 21 at 8:10 p.m. ET on Lake Avenue for a speeding vehicle.

The driver, Sonja Terrones, 34, of Plymouth was reportedly determined to be operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. Suspected marijuana was also located in the vehicle.

Terrones was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Meanwhile, a traffic stop was conducted Wednesday, August 23 at 7:15 a.m. ET after the driver displayed several traffic violations. 

The driver, Oscar Carrasco Galvez, 28, of Bremen was found to have never possessed a driver’s license. He was taken into custody.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
