A new School Resource Officer has been named at the Culver Community School Corporation.
According to corporation officials, Ryleigh Carr is a 2006 graduate of Rochester High School and has a Bachelors Degree from Huntington University. She has extensive safety and security experience.
She is a veteran and conducted missions with the Security Forces Assistance Team, Navy SEALS, and Counter Intelligence Team. She was also a firefighter and EMT.
She will be in place as the students return to the classroom today (August 9).
