The Marshall County Highway Department will be replacing the bridge on Elm Road north of U.S. 6 on or after Monday, September 11.
Highway officials note that this is a complete replacement of the bridge so no traffic will be permitted to travel the length of Elm Road between U.S. 6 and County Line Road during the time of construction. With limited space, all parties involved in the project are highly recommending motorists to not drive down to look at or investigate site progress during construction.
Motorists are encouraged to take an alternate route, such as State Road 331 to travel north or south in the area.
