An upcoming workshop series in Bremen will help educate and empower women in agriculture.
Annie’s Project is a six-week, discussion-based workshop bringing women together to learn from experts in production, financial and tax management, human resources, marketing, and the legal field. There will be plenty of time for questions, sharing, and connecting with presenters and fellow participants. There will be resources available with each session.
Sessions start Monday, September 11 and continue through October 16 hosted at the Bremen Public Library at 304 N Jackson St., from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET. The sessions will cover a variety of topics important to local farming and farm practices such as: estate planning, land leases and contracts, emergency preparedness, farm programs, financial documents, retirement for farm families, insurance for farm families, agricultural tax discussions, communication, crop insurance options, and farm safety.
