An Argos man was arrested on an active warrant Thursday, August 24.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, a detective located Gary Beatty , of Argos, in the area of 12th Road and King Road. The officer knew Beatty had an active felony warrant for his arrest and he was placed into custody, according to the report.
Police say Beatty was also in possession of suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
He was arrested and booked in the Marshall County Jail with no bond on the warrant and new charges.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
