The Argos Community School Board members took action this week to purchase two lots from the Argos Community Development Corporation for the creation of an additional parking lot to the south of the school corporation.
Superintendent Ned Speicher said the lots were purchased at a cost of $15,500.
Additionally, the school board took a preliminary look at ILEARN scores from the 2022-2023 school year. Those results have not been made available to the media at this time as they are embargoed, but school personnel have reviewed them for planning purposes. Speicher said there are still struggles from the times of COVID where there was learning loss due to remote learning during the pandemic, but students are making great strides to make gains in their education.
