Two turnkey/dispatchers from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department recently received lifesaving awards.
Bailey Richards helped a 911 caller December 13, 2022 who reported a two-year-old child was in an active seizure and it was later believed the child stopped breathing. Richards immediately notified the appropriate agencies and began life saving instructions to the caller. She continued with those CPR instructions until emergency responders arrived to take over the scene.
Morgan Hite helped a 911 caller September 17, 2022 who reported a 52-year-old man was not breathing. Hite immediately notified the appropriate agencies and instructed the caller in CPR. She continued with instructions until emergency responders arrived to take over the scene.
The awards were given to the two dispatchers on Wednesday, June 28.
