Neglect Charge for Plymouth Man

Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of Sycamore Street and Sixth Street the evening of Wednesday, July 26 for the report of a juvenile driving a vehicle.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on the suspected vehicle that was being driven by Carlos Rodriguez, 38, of Plymouth.

Police say Rodriguez had never obtained a driver’s license. While driving he had allowed his seven-year-old son to drive the vehicle while his six-year-old son was a passenger in the back seat, according to the report. 

Rodriguez was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
