The John Glenn School Corporation will soon hold a surplus auction.
The John Glenn School Board declared several items as surplus at a recent meeting. Superintendent Christopher Winchell said some of the items are from the shop areas.
“A lot of the old fashioned equipment didn’t have automatic safety shut offs so a good chunk of the surplus is old shop equipment that doesn’t really meet the school industry standard anymore to be used with kids and the woodworking area,” explained Winchell. “There is also come miscellaneous furniture that’s end-of-life. There will be a full list of that and auction details posted on the John Glenn website prior to the auction.”
The dates for the auction have yet to be scheduled with the auction service.
