The John Glenn School Board members recently approved the purchase of food service equipment for Urey Middle School, North Liberty Elementary School and Walkerton Elementary School.
Superintendent Christopher Winchell said ovens, a dishwasher, and various other equipment was purchased from C&T Designs in the amount of just under $132,000.
The board also took action to adjust the Certified wage scale. Winchell explained that there have been retirements, hires and transfers within the corporation so updates to the Certified wage scale were necessary that dealt with language, title changes and compensation.
