Bourbon Town Council Receives May Police Report, Hears Updates

The Bourbon Town Council accepted the May 2023 monthly activity report from Bourbon Police Department Chief William Martin and heard updates during their June meeting.  Chief Martin reported that the hiring process is closed with ten applicants. Testing is scheduled.

Chief Martin reported 799 Daily Log Entries during the month of May.

The Bourbon Police Department Activity Report for May 2023 included two accidents reported, four uniform traffic tickets, eight ordinance tickets, 41 school patrols, 12written warnings, 51 verbal warnings, four vehicle identification checks, 60 traffic details including radar checks, three motorist assists, six attempts to locate and 30 foot patrols.

The Bourbon Police Department Criminal Activity Report for May 2023 included three felony arrests, three misdemeanor arrests, nine case reports assigned, and two alarms.

The Bourbon Police Department Administrative and General Report included 69 office details, zero firearms applications, two record checks / processing, 30 general complaints, 18 requests for service, 164 security checks, 48 public contacts, 37 assists to other agencies, five animal complaints, five notices served, five doors or windows found open, four family disturbance complaints, seven suspicious persons or vehicles, and 14 calls to 9-1-1.
