Three Arrested in Theft Investigation

Three people were arrested the morning of Thursday, June 15 following a theft investigation and warrant service in the 300 block of Indiana Avenue in Argos.

During the investigation, officers located 34-year-old Scott Bryant of Bourbon and 24-year-old Steven Garcia of Argos in a vehicle on the property. Officers located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and hypodermic needles on the pair and placed them under arrest, according to the report.

Bryant faces preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of hypodermic needle.  Garcia faces preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a hypodermic needle. 

Police say they had information that 28-year-old Jaidlyn Larimore of Argos was hiding inside the home and had active warrants for her arrest.  Officers were able to gain entry into the house and take her into custody. 

Larimore was arrested on the misdemeanor warrant and a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement. 

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Argos Police Department worked together in this investigation. 

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office. 

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
