After many years of service assisting with the election process, Linda Starr will be on the other side of the ballot for the General Election this fall.

Chair of the Republican Party GOP Deborah VanDeMark and Starr completed a certificate of candidate selection to fill an early ballot vacancy for a city or town office in 2023. Starr is filling the vacancy created by the withdrawal of Brian Bartlett for an At-Large Seat – Plymouth Council.

Starr said, “It will be a learning experience even at my age. You are never too old to give back to your community.”

The same process was completed for Spencer Standley who will fill the vacancy created by the withdrawal of Ward Byers for a seat on the Bourbon Town Council.
