Plymouth Street Paving Bid Ratified

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety took action last week to ratify the award for the street paving projects.

The lowest responsible bid came from Rieth-Riley Construction Company in the amount of $482,099.96.

Paving will be conducted on Hillcrest Avenue from Winding Oak Drive to Crimson Lane, Winding Oak Drive from Hillcrest Avenue to the dead end, West Adams Street from the dead end to Beerenbrook Street, West Adams Street from Beerenbrook Street to North Fifth Street, West Adams Street from North Fifth Street to North Third Street, West Monroe Street from North Walnut to North Center Street, East Harrison Street from North Michigan to Baily Street, Baker Street from Columbus Drive to Dora Lane, East Laporte Street from Liberty Street to Walk Bridge, Louisa Street from South Michigan Street to Miner Street, Ruth Street from South Michigan Street to Chester Street, and Bayless Street from Lemler Lane to Jackson Heights. 

Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt told the board members last week that bids will be coming in soon for Community Crossings projects which include paving on Gibson Street and Laporte Street.
