The Plymouth City Council members approved a resolution during their last meeting that would authorize the transfer of appropriations in the Motor Vehicle Highway Department of the City of Plymouth.
The request was issued by Street Superintendent Jimmy Marquardt. Marquardt requested that $28,000 be moved from ‘Supplies and Other Materials’ to ‘Equipment’ for the purchase of two new leaf machines. The machines have updated technology and improved ergonomic design. Marquardt said that the machines may not arrive in time for this leaf season, but will be in on time for the next.
