Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety, City Council to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet tonight where they will review an executive order concerning tax abatement forms.

They will also look at a resolution that would approve the application of David Leffel for a commercial revitalization rebate program grant.

Department heads will give reports as necessary.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. ET tonight, followed by the Plymouth City Council at 6:30 p.m.

The Plymouth City Council will ratify the award of a street paving bid for projects, as well as consider street closure requests for the annual downtown tractor show and the Downtown Merchants’ Block Party and City of Plymouth Sesquicentennial party.  The Plymouth-Kilwinning Masonic Lodge will have a request to use the water tower lot for a function.

The council will discuss a real property exchange agreement with Centennial Crossing, and two Memorandum of Understanding documents for 1619 N. Oak Drive and a School Resource Officer for the Plymouth Community School Corporation.

Both meetings will be held in the second floor Council Chambers room in the Plymouth City Building at 124 N. Michigan Street.  Those interested in attending the meeting in person should enter the building through the Garro Street entrance.
