The Town of LaPaz is celebrating tomorrow!
June 10 marks the town’s sesquicentennial and plenty of activities are planned tomorrow to mark the occasion.
The day begins with a pancake and sausage breakfast at the LaPaz Fire Station from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. ET. Get a free book and get into a drawing for gift cards at a booth by the fire station.
The parade begins at noon through town. There will be fresh popcorn to get at First Source Bank during the parade.
A time capsule will be buried in front of the fire station at 1 p.m. ET. Also at 1 p.m., the car and motorcycle show is planned and craft and food vendors will be open at the north side of the park. The bucket brigade is at 1:30 p.m. A cornhole tournament begins at 2 p.m., followed by the tug-of-war contest at 3 p.m. The Lions Club will be selling tenderloins and fries, and fireworks will be featured at dusk.
Help the Town of LaPaz celebrate its 150th anniversary tomorrow!
