Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies made an arrest on Thursday morning during a job interview at the department.
Nicole Sniadecki, age 39, of Plymouth, went into the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department for a scheduled meeting related to her inquiry into employment with the Sheriff’s Department. While speaking with her, an officer reportedly observed slurred speech along with an odor commonly associated with alcohol after consumption coming from her breath. Sniadecki admitted to operating a vehicle while traveling to the Sheriff’s Department and consuming alcohol that morning, according to the report.
Police say a certified breath test was obtained which showed a result of nearly twice the legal limit.
Sniadecki was taken to the Marshall County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
