A dedication ceremony is planned Sunday, July 2 at 1 p.m. ET for the 25th Habitat for Humanity home in Marshall County.
The home is located at 421 W. Garro Sreet and it is the first home on the property.
Volunteers have been working two days a week alongside the home owner, Christy Cottrell, to complete the home for her and her family that includes five children.
This is the second two-story home to be built by the volunteers. Three more homes
are planned at the site on Garro Street.
Habitat for Humanity builds homes for families who have a housing need, willing to
help build their home and able to make an affordable monthly mortgage payment.
The family will be able to move in when the final touches are complete and the
building inspector issues an occupancy permit.
